Daniel is a London-based, sound and media specialist whose work explores the intersection of technology, digital work and creativity. With a focus on innovation, precision and network systems, Daniel Marin constructs immersive experiences that blend digital techniques with hardware equipment. Driven by a deep curiosity for the mechanics of the audiosivial field, Daniel integrates advanced studio techniques, video editing and sound to create evolving experiences. Being a qualified Pro Tools specialist and proficient in programming languages such as Pure Data and Python, his work is informed by both the technical and artistic dimensions of interactive design, drawing inspiration from electronics, experimentation, and digital art. He has worked and exhibited in numerous locations in London, like for example Cafe 1001, Gallery 46, The Crypt Gallery, London College of Communication, Central Saint Martins or Clink Hostels among others and also outside London, collaborating with events in New York and Ibiza.
Beyond production, Daniel is dedicated to knowledge-sharing and community building within the audio tech and sound design space. Through content creation, he demystifies complex sound technologies, providing insight into synthesis, digital signal processing, and creative coding, being involved in numerous projects with instrument companies like Dubreq Stylophone (UK), Artiphon (USA), Synido (China) or Playtronica (Berlin). His work not only challenges sonic conventions but also seeks to inspire and educate a new generation of artists and technologists, having also recently worked in film composition and sound design for the films Green Girl (India) and Brothers (Australia). He has also released albums, EPs and collaborations with labels like Diffuse Reality, Conceptual, Kama or Calm Coastline.
